<abstract>2024 Countywide 3-inch Orthoimagery Project, Allen County, OH. In the Spring of 2024, Woolpert provided Allen County with new orthoimagery covering the entire county (+/406.9 sq. mi). The aerial imagery was collected during leaf-off conditions with a 3 inch pixel resolution. Imagery was collected with the Leica DMC-4 Digital Sensor. Along the perimeter of the project area, orthoimagery was buffered at 100 feet. Existing ground control was utilized to provide the County the most economical product. The file naming convention is as follows: bnxxxxyyyy (Ohio North Zone); Please note that xxxx and yyyy represent the easting and northing coordinates (respectively) in state plane feet. The orthos were delivered as a countywide dataset, consisting of 1,250' x 1,250' uncompressed 8-bit, 4-band color GeoTIFF format with TIFF world files. Additional deliverables included countywide color and color infrared Gen3 MrSID (Multi resolution Seamless Image Database) images (20x and 100x compressions), township color and color infrared Gen3 MrSID (Multi resolution Seamless Image Database) images (20x and 100x compressions), city of Lima color and color infrared Gen3 MrSID (Multi resolution Seamless Image Database) images (20x and 100x compressions), FGDC CSDGM compliant metadata per file, and tile index provided in ESRI shapefile format. Ownership of the data products resides with Allen County and the state of Ohio. Orthoimagery and ancillary data products produced through this contract are public domain data.</abstract>
<purpose>Allen County, OH, has a goal to develop and/or update their existing orthoimagery geospatial dataset for use by city agencies, other levels of government, academia, and the general public, and to provide these datasets for inclusion to OGRIP. OGRIP is a State of Ohio resource for geographic information technology users.</purpose>

<horizpar>The 7.5cm (3-inch) orthoimagery was produced by Woolpert to meet ASPRS Positional Accuracy Standards for Digital Geospatial Data (2014) for a 11cm RMSEx / RMSEy Horizontal Accuracy Class which equates to Positional Horizontal Accuracy = +/- 37cm (+/- 1.2ft) at a 95% confidence level.</horizpar>

<procdesc>The imagery for this task order was acquired using the Leica DMC-4 airborne digital airborne sensor. All of the source imagery were initially processed in Leica’s HxMAP software for image frame generation, and then final processed using the ImageStation Automatic Triangulation (ISAT) software package. This package provides the capability to perform aerial triangulation.</procdesc>

<procdesc>The image frames were ortho rectified to existing lidar digital elevation model (DEM) data. The individual rectified frames of ortho rectified imagery were then mosaicked together to form a seamless imagery database over the entire task order area using the OrthoVista software. The final digital orthophoto imagery (DOI) were extracted using OrthoVista. Final orthophoto non-overlapping tiles were produced in GeoTIFF format (with World files) using a cell size of 3-inch and a tile size of 1,250’ x 1,250’.</procdesc>
